Ultraflex Feders of VB
For over a decade, we've been forging what our community fondly calls "feather feders” the lighter more flexible variants of our base feders. These swords typically weigh between 1150–1350 grams and offer 8–9 kg of flexibility, making them exceptionally fast and safe in skilled hands.
While we don’t yet list a dedicated Ultraflex model on our website, many fencers request this configuration when ordering base feders especially the "Bell" feder. It’s a popular choice, particularly among experienced fencers who appreciate the speed and control it offers.
However, it's important to note: achieving this lightness and flexibility means the blade is thinner than standard, which can make it more susceptible to damage during intense sparring. So while many love it, we recommend Ultraflex/Feather feders for seasoned fencers who know how to push the limits.
