This is our standard feder model, ideally suited for HEMA fencing, making it an excellent choice for both beginners and experienced practitioners alike.

The sword is fully disassemblable and compatible with our range of HEMA feders and related accessories. A variety of customization options are available, including pommel styles, crossguards, and flexibility levels.

Blade: without Fuller

There are several blade types to choose from: stiff or flexible blades.
 
We offer our federblades a wide range of flexibility, which is adapted to the different fencing techniques.

More and more people are taking part in Tournaments, where a strong blade to blade contact belongs to the fence. We offer them the tournament blades, which are very strong but not flexible, closer to a combat-ready sword, but more dangerous when performing stitches.
 
The flexible blades are designed for light, technical fencing, there is no strong blade contact, it is more about fencing techniques. These blades are light and flexible, are very flexible and bend at the stich - thus taking much of its dangerous energy from the attack - but they are weaker at the same time: they are not suitable for fencing with full contact.
 
The medium stiff blade is the most sought after and a large number of users use this type. These blades withstand hard blade contact, but are also flexible and make fencing safer.
 
Before buying, we recommend that you agree with the Fencing Club which blade the coach proposes to your knowledge and fencing style!

We offer our feders with a wide range of flexibility, tailored to the various fencing techniques. More and more people are taking part in competitions where strong blade and body contact are part of the fencing. We offer them the Tournament blades, which are very strong, but they are not flexible.

The flexible blades are made for lightweight, technical fencing, where there is hardly any strong blade contact, but rather the pursuit of fencing techniques. These blades are lightweight and flexible - but they are more vulnerable: they are not suitable for full-contact races.

The medium rigid blade is the most sought after, and a large number of users use this type. These blades can withstand hard blade contact, but are also flexible, making fencing safer.

Federsword with stiff blade

For better hand protection the guard has buttons on the ends.

This type of Federsword  bends up to 10cm away from the vertical axis when  vertical pressure of 6-8 kg is applied.  

The federswords with stiff blade are in two Version available:

- Fix Version (with rivited pommel)

- Disassembled version

The thickness of the blade (from the point to the first 20 cm): 2-2,5 mm.

The thickness of the blade by the guard: 6 mm.

Federsword with parrying rings

For better hand-protection the sword has parrying rings.

The cross-guard is heat-treated in order to provide hardness and durability while keeping the minimum weight.

We deliver the federsword in two Version:

- stiff (fix, or disassembled version)

- soft or flexible (only disassembled version)
